A Little About the Guy Behind the Bull

Mad Disc Golf is an independent disc golf shop located inside Mercado de la Cebada, a traditional Spanish market in the heart of Madrid.

But my connection to disc golf goes back a whole lot further than opening a shop in Spain.

I grew up in Austin, Texas, and started playing disc golf when I was 12 years old. I've spent much of my life playing competitively, traveling to courses, and helping introduce the sport to new communities.

Even after moving to Spain, I haven't stopped competing. In 2025, I had the opportunity to represent Cyprus at the Disc Golf Pro World Championships in Finland. Not a bad journey for a kid who started throwing discs back in Texas!

These days, between running the shop, competing, and working to bring new courses to Southern Europe, disc golf keeps me pretty busy.

I've helped establish courses in the United States, Spain, and Cyprus, and I'm still working to bring more disc golf courses to public parks, traditional golf facilities, and communities where the sport is just getting started.
