InnovaDiscs says that Blizzard Champion discs weighing less than 140 grams float in water. That alone is a big plus if you play near lakes, ponds, or any body of water, like Lake Park.

It's not just any old Boss... this one comes in Blizzard Champion, that Innova plastic with microbubbles that makes it ultralight but still as hard as a Sunday calamari sandwich.
And get this: this mold held the world record for distance for quite some time, reaching 1,108 feet (about 338 meters). Incredible.

It's a joy to play with forehand, but the best part is that even with medium-sized hands, its ultra-wide rim provides excellent grip if you're looking for a powerful forehand. It has that certain something that falls right between a Wraith and a Destroyer… a reliable classic that never disappoints.

Another great thing about lightweight discs is how they perform at altitude. The higher you climb, the less dense the air becomes, and the discs become more unstable. By shedding a few grams, you regain that lost glide, and the disc flies as intended again, without plummeting prematurely.

And here's an opinion from the house, very real and from day-to-day life:
For many players over 50, any speed driver 10 or higher is much more enjoyable on Blizzard.
The disc remains stable and powerful, but being lighter makes it easier to incorporate speed, timing, and good mechanics without breaking your arm. Basically, those "too fast" molds are playable again... and a lot of fun.
