The Alien excels at spin putts, approaches, and short drives. It's so unusual and unique that it doesn't fit into a standard category, so Innova has revived the term "Multipurpose" to reflect the versatility of this mold.

It's a super complete disc, ideal for playing a whole round with just one player.

For players coming from other Frisbee sports, its larger diameter and saucer-like shape feel super comfortable in the hand. Using the Alien is like playing catch, but with the advantage that it withstands torque, wind, and power far better than any catch disc.
