New, this model is more stable and denser than an Aviar DX. The KC Pro plastic blend is a little slippery at first, but once broken in, it flies like a new DX, with the advantage that it wears much more slowly. If you love the Aviar DX right out of the bag, these are the ones for you: they'll slowly break in until they fly like a new DX, but with greater durability.
